The high school is one of the things that I´d like to have here in Spain. It´s the best school I´ve ever seen. There were abaut 1500 studets from 14 to 18 years old, so it seems there are more people than actually are, and you can make a lot of friends. In adition, avery student has an own locker, where they can leave the books and other things instead of taking them everywhere. The building was huge, with two floors, large corridors and practical classrooms. Even there was a little interior court that you had to cross to get to the order side of the school, amazing. The sport sinstalations were unsurpassable. There was a fatnastic gym where you can practise baskeball, volleyball, badminton… There was swimming pool too with a nice trampolin, america futbol fields, baseball fields, soccer fields… There was a theatre very beautiful theatre, a band, chours…. In conclusion, it was a wonderful school where people like to be!!

I was so lucky beacause I was one of the 5 spanish students who went to Apolo Theatre, wich is in New York, so I was two times there. We went in the afternoon, after classes, it was a long trip but the bus was very confortable. When we arrived to the city, we were petrified because of the skyscrapers. It was night, so we couldn´t see so much in the distance, but the city looks very nice at night with all the lights and colors. Finally, we arrived to Apolo Theatre, I thougth it was bigger but it is beautiful inside and the importance of the theatre is not the building, is the people who were there. The spectacle was so entertained, most of the people ther were black people beacuse the theatre is in Harlem and beacuse of that there were dancing, laughs, participation of the public… It was an amateurs´spectacle but there were people so good. One of the american boys I met there, played piano there and he was the second best. It was so good!

One of the things that is different here is the sport. People feel it, love it and EVERY one practice it. The most popular is the baseball. I didn’t know it works, but Kevin(Stephanie’s father) explained me it and now I like it. The same with American futbol wich is the second most popular. In the high school, boys love baseball and practice American futbol. Most of girls play soccer, volleyball or cheerleaders. We usually staf at the high school after classes and we watch the trainings even in the swimming pool where there are very good swimmers. In the TV, always you can watch sports in some of the 900 channels XD.

Here is awfully different. In Spain very few people decorate the houses in Halloween, here, the day we arrive there was people with pumpkins, bats, and many different things in the windows and the gardens. The children love the party, Matthew is Stephanie’s brother and is very excited because of Halloween. He is going to dress up and looking for candy in the houses with friends. It must be so fun. There are Halloween stuff in everywhere, evern in the supermarkets you can buy many different customs, food…
We’d like to be here that day but we can’t, because of that, last Friday we had a Halloween party for the Spanish students, we had a good time, we made pumpkins, every we were dressed up, and I won the pumpkin contest. The prize was a very nice NBA sweater!!!!

First of all, I’d like to apologize because of my blog. I didn’t write in it because there are problems to enter since the computer. This is the first time I can use another computer and I’ll write about New York because is is most recent experience.
My experience in New York was so great in spite of being so little time. We took a tour by bus and we stopped in roquefeler center. It was so good but I prefer time square with all the colors, lights and very good shops. The day after we went to liberty island wich was so good and we took many photos there. Finally we went to MOMA (museum of modern art). I love it, and I’d like to be there again bacase I couldn’t see all the pictures and scultures.
Finally, it was one of my best experiences of my life.

Hi! I´m Jorge.
I´m so glad beacause of going to Milford. I´d like to be there now but… I know… I have to wait. I´m quite worried because I have no news about my “family”, I know… I have to wait. Here, in the school, every we are very excited beacause of the trip and our friends don´t want we to go. XD. Clearly, I want to go and I want to belive that it´s going to be a fantastic experience!!!
